Sept 3rd: First Responder Recognition - Emergency Preparedness
We're honoring all first responders! Details to come... Diane Sheets heads the event.
Plan on Fire trucks, Ambulances and Law Enforcement being part of the event; it's also Emergency Preparedness Month. But it's not all seriousness. You know that there's fun to be shared at Towanda’s First Friday's so check back for more!
October: Fall Harvest
A Scarecrow contest? You betcha! Plan now to enter YOUR scarecrow. Rules to be announced at our August First Friday booth. Sharon Kaminsky from the BCRAC (268-2787) and Cindy Wood from Dry Goods Plus (268-7587) are October co-chairs. There will be more on this and other plans to be announced.
November: Hunting Season
Whether it's hunting for food, fun or the best buys in town, don't miss our November First Friday. We'll be posting more as details become available.
December: Christmas
Who doesn't love a Christmas Parade? December First Friday will have that and plenty more ... even Santa Claus! Contact Elaine Poost at the BCRAC (268-2787) to participate. And check back often for more developments.
